All the righteousness, peace, health and protection we receive; and all the knowledge of God and His Word we obtain—as well as our preparation for Eternal Life, comes directly through the teaching and training of the Holy Spirit.  We can see how valuable and necessary it is to have the Holy Spirit abiding within to control every aspect of our life.

The Holy Spirit is a personal being—not just an influence or a power, like electricity—but a person just as God and Jesus Christ.  If the Holy Spirit is present, it is the same as if God Himself or His Son Jesus Christ were there.  The Holy Spirit is exactly like God in love, power, intelligence, wisdom, and personality.  He is the same as God.

There are three persons of the God-head—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.  The three are exactly alike—it is one God in three persons.  Jesus said to His disciples John 14:9, "He who has seen Me has seen the Father.”

Before Jesus ascended He said Matthew 28:18-20 “All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.  Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”

He would no longer be with us in person, because He is at the right hand of God, but we do have the Holy Spirit at our side—which is the same as having God or Jesus with us.  It is a wonderful privilege to have God with us, and be able to ask and receive from Him anything we need in life.

The Holy Spirit is present and at our service every moment we live.  Psalm 139:7-8 ”Where can I go from your Spirit?  Where can I flee from your presence?  If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there.”  We should thoroughly understand Romans 8:31-32 “If God is for us, who can be against us?  He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?”

Jesus said that it was better for us to have the Holy Spirit here on earth than it would to have Him in person.  We do not always realize the meaning of that.  He said John 16:7 “I tell you the truth; It is expedient [to your advantage; best] for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter [Counselor; Advocate] will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.”  That is how valuable Jesus considered the Holy Spirit.

Concerning creation, the Holy Spirit is the One Who did all the work.  Genesis 1:1-2 ”In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.  And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep.  And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.”  It was the beginning of His creating the earth and everything in it—including man.

When Jesus was here on earth, it was the Holy Spirit who cast out demons, and who healed those oppressed of the devil.  Luke 4:18-19 "The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me To preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives And recovery of sight to the blind, To set at liberty those who are oppressed; To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord."

Jesus explained what a serious sin it was to blaspheme the Holy Spirit.  He said to them Matthew 12:28 "If I cast out demons by the Spirit of God, surely the kingdom of God has come upon you.”  Then He added 32 "Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven him, either in this [world] or in the [world] to come.”  It is a dangerous thing to speak against or oppose God’s Truth—a Truth that the Holy Spirit inspired to be written.

The purpose of the Holy Spirit coming to this earth is to teach us, and to lead us, to know the full Truth of the Bible.  Jesus said John 16:13 ”When He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.”

The Holy Spirit enables us to understand the Truth, and to live according to the Bible.  God’s Word has a plan for every phase of our life, and each one is diametrically opposite to the devil’s plan for our life.  Many people, when they first hear about God’s Truth, have followed the plans of the world for so long, that it can take much teaching to get them away from that mindset.

The first thing that the Holy Spirit does is to lead a person away from human plans, and bring them into God’s plans for this life—that is the work of the Holy Spirit.  Anyone who is being taught by the Holy Spirit, will progress in faith, and will learn to trust God for everything in this life.  They will always be learning and finding something new to trust God for.

The Holy Spirit is the One who teaches us about God’s financial and healing plans.  If we have not allowed the Spirit to show us the Truth, we would not understand it, and will not accept it.  If we are willing to be taught, however, we will eventually see the importance of trusting God for everything, and will allow Him to answer every question we have concerning His Truth on trust.

The Holy Spirit is not only with us all the time, but He wants to do things for us all the time.  He wants to do anything possible for our spiritual benefit, and will take advantage of any opportunity we give Him to teach us how to trust in faith.  He knows the reality and the grandeur of Eternal Life in Heaven; and He knows the reality and horrors of the Lake of Fire in Hell, so He has an intense desire to enlighten us to know the entire will of God.

People in general do not want to accept God’s financial plan of daily trust; or they do not see the necessity of trusting God for divine healing.  Most professing Christians think there is some good in all churches, and that no one should denounce them—even if they are not giving the full Truth.

False doctrines have serious ramifications with eternal consequences.  Jesus strongly denounced false teaching, because it was in direct opposition to the life-giving Truth He was teaching.  Jesus had to warn people, because such teaching was deadly, and would lead a person to Hell.  If He did not say anything, they would just continue giving their wicked teaching and destroying lives for eternity.  The worst thing to do would be to keep quiet and not say anything.

The apostle Paul said there is Ephesians 4:5-6 ”One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all.”  The apostle was 15 “speaking the truth in love,” just as Jesus did.  Matthew 23:27 "Alas for you, Scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites, for you are just like whitewashed sepulchres, the outside of which pleases the eye, though inside they are full of dead men’s bones and of all that is unclean.”  No matter what He said, they still refused to believe.  They simply Matthew 23:37 "were not willing!”

The Holy Spirit will enlighten anyone willing to learn, how deadly the teaching and doctrine is of the denominational churches, and most other religious organizations, who fail to give God’s full Truth.  Anyone can understand God’s healing, financial, and all other plans, if they allow the Holy Spirit to teach them.  They will see these Truths eye to eye and understand them heart to heart.

As we grow in faith and develop to the image of Christ—allowing His righteousness, love, and humility to flow through us, we will stand for the same Truth of the Gospel, as Jesus did.  We will denounce and oppose any teaching that does not measure up to the standard of faith and trust God has set for us in the New Testament.

The only people the Holy Spirit can teach, are those willing to learn spiritual truth.  Those with Luke 8:15 “an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience.”  It is having an unprejudiced mind to the teaching of the Holy Spirit.  It means gaining a better understanding of God’s Word and Truth, and having a greater faith and confidence in Him—being kept in perfect alignment with His will.  It means not refusing to do anything clearly taught in the Bible.

We must always be willing to follow the clear directions of God’s Word.  Concerning baptism, Jesus said Matthew 3:15, "Let it be so now; it is proper for us to do this to fulfill all righteousness."  We are to be baptized by triune immersion as the early church did.  The apostle referred to Noah obeying God and building an ark.  1 Peter 3:21 ”This water symbolizes baptism that now saves you also—not the removal of dirt from the body but the pledge of a good conscience toward God.  It saves you by the resurrection of Jesus Christ.”

Everyone at first seems prejudiced against God’s financial plan, but His plan of trust is the most profitable plan in the world.  Most people think they have to get rid of every cent they have, and never get it back, so they make excuses, and say they do not understand it.  A person led by the Holy Spirit, however, will accept whatever God says in this Word, and every Truth will be plain to them.

God promises that if we give up real estate investments, laid up money, and all financial plans of the world, and we give the money to the poor, we will just transfer the money to Heaven Mark 10:17-22; Luke 12:33.  The interest on the money we invest in Heaven’s bank is not 1% or 10%, but 10,000%!

It is all about being taught by the Holy Spirit to have faith in God.  Mark 10:29-30 "Assuredly, I say to you, there is no one who has left house or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or lands, for My sake and the gospel’s, who shall not receive a hundredfold now in this time—houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and lands, with persecutions—and in the [world] to come, eternal life.”
