To qualify for Heaven, certain conditions must be met—and knowing what these spiritual conditions are, is the most important information we could possibly obtain.  Most religious messages today do not contain the full Truth of God’s Word, because they either ignore or they do not explain about meeting conditions on this critically important issue.

The majority of Christian church ministers would say that miracles, divine healing, manna from Heaven, and other signs of God’s power happened in Bible times, but they do not happen today, they say—even though John 1:1 “In the beginning was the Word;” John 1:14 “And the Word was made flesh.”

Since 1 Peter 1:25 “the word of the Lord endureth for ever;” John 1:1 “and the Word was God;” who said Matthew 28:20 “Lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world;” and who is Hebrews 13:8 “the same yesterday, and today, and forever,” then that same divine power is available today—as it was in the Bible.

Every good or bad situation on earth ends at some point, but eternity never ends—it is for ever and ever.  There is no comparing this brief span of time on earth, with the endless span of eternity.  There are many opinions about eternal life, but only the Bible gives the true conditions for receiving it.  Anyone can be ready for Heaven, but there are conditions to meet—we, absolutely, must know what these conditions are.

The Scriptures explain God’s Truth, and the examples prove the facts.  A false teacher cannot refute Bible examples, because an example shows how to apply the principle of trust on God, and shows what results were obtained.  There is this illustration of truth in the life of Abram.

He was no different than anyone else and he began life like everyone else—with a rebellious nature that did not want to trust an unseen God for anything.  Abraham also had the same devil to oppose him—but the big disadvantage for Abram was having no Bible.  We are blessed with a full volume of Truth—the value of which is beyond computation, because that Truth explains how to be prepared for eternity in Heaven.

Abraham’s life illustrates the pathway to the blessings God has for us.  Two major factors in his life of faith were divine healing and financial trust.  This is important, because far too many proclaiming to be Christians, omit or discard these two factors—divine healing and financial trust.  If Abraham did not trust God for physical healing and daily supplies, he would not have grown spiritually; he would not have received anything from God, and he would be in the Lake of Fire today.

It is vital then, that we know how necessary it is to be scriptural on healing and finances—as well as all other issues—so we will be ready to meet Jesus.  The basis of Abraham’s spiritual growth, learning, and righteousness, was based on trusting God for the healing of his body, and depending on God for supplying daily needs.

This information on spiritual growth, is well worth knowing, because previous to knowing of this Truth, we thought like the average church thinks—that it is not necessary to trust God for healing or finances—that these two things have nothing to do with our qualification for Heaven.  Abraham’s life proves that these two issues have everything to do with eternal life—because they are major faith issues—conditions that must be met.

The attitude Abraham had toward others, and his treatment of those he dealt with, showed outwardly that his heart was right inwardly with God.  Abraham was no different than any of us; but he met things right, because he gave his life to God right.  Abraham wanted to do God’s will first and always.  Anyone else can do that—because anyone can make the choice to do it.

If we make the right decision in this, God supplies the ability; the spiritual light; and the inspiration of His Spirit to give success.  We are responsible for only one thing—the choice to meet conditions to qualify for Heaven.

The Bible shows what great results came from making the right choice; as well as the horrible results from making the wrong choice.  Anyone can choose as they wish—that is everyone’s free-will choice.  Our eternal fate is right in our own hands—absolutely so.

Abraham received the blessings of God, rather than the curses of Satan, because he used his power of choice to obey God and follow His leading.  If anyone chooses to listen to the devil’s lies, they receive the devil’s torments; and if anyone chooses to believe God’s Truth, they receive His many blessings—with Heaven as the eternal blessing.

When we listen to the devil and disobey the Scriptures, all kinds of problems are experienced; and when we listen to God and obey the Scriptures, all kinds of blessings are received.  No one can take this power of choice away from us—and no one can choose for us.  If we experience many problems in life; it is because we chose the way of the world.  If anyone is so unfortunate as to end in the Lake of Fire, then that was their choice—it could have been so different!

Satan tries to have us think that Bible believers—Abraham, Moses, Elijah, Elisha, Daniel, and the apostles had something special about them that we could not have—but that is not true.  We can have the same results, because it was faith in the same God who is still with us.  Since we can have the same spiritual light, then we can have the same good results; divine power; blessings, and eternal life.

God inspired the apostle to write James 5:17 “Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed earnestly that it would not rain; and it did not rain on the land for three years and six months. 18 And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth produced its fruit.”

We can pray to the same God and with the same faith and receive the same answers to prayer—for healing; for finances; for protection; for the weather, or anything else.  It is not who we are, but the kind of a God everyone has—who is by our side every moment.

Physical healing and financial trust were both the foundation of Abraham’s life of faith, and they were the foundation of Jesus’ ministry also—that is of major importance, because the Christian world today does not know and does not practice Bible teaching on healing and finances.  They have rejected those two divine principles of trust on God—it would disqualify them for Heaven.

If they are right, then this Bible is wrong, and our faith is in vain; but we know that this teaching is not wrong and it is God’s Truth about two vitally important issues of trust on Him.  We just want to know the truth about the pathway that leads to victory here, and Heaven hereafter.

We must keep this Truth, in this day of so much error and spiritual darkness.  Knowing the truth about this, means Heaven or Hell—it is that important!  A main factor in learning spiritual lessons of faith for Abraham, was his willingness.  God’s Word says—Romans 12:1 “present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God;” and to Psalm 37:5 “Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him”—Abraham committed his way unto God.

The LORD said Genesis 12:1-2 “Leave your country, your people and your father’s household and go to the land I will show you.  I will make you into a great nation and I will bless you; I will make your name great.”  Abraham had to leave his home, farm, and loved ones so Hebrews 11:8 “By faith Abraham, when called to go to a place he would later receive as his inheritance, obeyed and went, even though he did not know where he was going.”

That meant a total surrender of his will to God’s will—giving up everything he had depended on for a living, and to begin living by faith in God—in a strange country among people he did not know.  That involved financial trust on God.  Jesus taught that if we were not scriptural on finances, we would not be righteous by faith and trust on God.  But Abraham believed God Romans 4:5, so “his faith is counted for righteousness.”

Abraham started depending on God for support—just as Israel had to depend on God for food in a desert—it was all about financial trust for both.  Many think that Abraham had to leave his possessions only because he had so much property—but they miss the point and principle of trust on God.  Abraham left everything, and started to trust God in faith for each day’s needs, just like everyone has to do—sooner or later—if they want to qualify for Heaven.

When financial trust is learned right—by depending on God every day to help us understand it—like Abraham and Israel did, we will have financial blessings; have all we need for ourselves, and enough to give away—we just need to learn the lesson first.  It is a humbling process and it eliminates self—that always looks out for itself.

Abraham later met another financial test.  He and his nephew lived in Canaan near Sodom and Gomorrah.  The worldly-minded herdsmen started quarreling over land rights.  Abraham had the choice to give good measure, or take good measure.  He met it right; Genesis 13:8 “Abram said unto Lot, Let there be no strife, I pray thee, between me and thee.”  He was following the Word Mark 9:50 “Have salt in yourselves, and be at peace with each other.”

Abraham kept his focus on honoring God.  If the worldly Canaanites and Perizzites saw Abraham’s men and Lot’s men fighting, they would have thought the worst, and said they were no different than heathen—bringing dishonor on God.  But Abraham met this matter in a way that would glorify God.  He gave Lot a choice of the best, even though he could have taken the best for himself.

Lot chose the best, and Abraham took the least; but right after meeting this financial issue right, Lot leaves, and God appears with His reward.  All the land, God said, Genesis 13:15 “I give to you and your descendants forever.”  What a blessing that was!—and just by meeting one issue in a scriptural way—bringing peace; honoring God; and giving someone else the best.

To let someone, whom you were ahead of, or you were older than, take first choice of the best, brought about a vitally important result—the elimination of self!  Self will always choose first and always take the best—for itself!  The spiritual blessing for Abraham is what would be valued the most!  This reward is far more important than all the land and money in the world—he qualified for Heaven!
